Dr. Joseph Geiger, III

Dr. Joseph Geiger was raised in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He attended Devon Preparatory School and first became interested in oral surgery when he began shadowing family friend and neighbor Dr. Leonetti. He matriculated to a joint degree program with Adelphi University and New York University’s College of Dentistry.

After earning his doctorate in dental surgery from NYU, Dr. Geiger was accepted to residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Geiger’s training encompasses the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including extensive training in general anesthesia and sedation.

His particular areas of expertise are dentoalveolar surgery including extractions, bone grafts,  dental & Zygomatic implants,  orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, and oral & maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction.  He has multiple publications on these surgeries in journals and textbook chapters.

Outside of work, Dr. Geiger is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys reading and spending time with his partner, Miya, and their two dogs, Moon and Storm.
